John and Jerra Morris, of Team Radical West, flew across the pond to visit the Radical Factory in Peterborough, England. Peterborough is about 90 miles west of London in the beautiful English countryside. Paul Dujon, General Manager of Radical Motorsport, Ltd. gave us the grand tour of their impressive 20,000 square foot facility. 

The first stop on the tour was to meet Paul Dujon, and to finalize the orders for several Radical SR3’s that are nearly ready to ship to the United States. John pauses to admire the scale models of the Radicals, along with the new V8 engine, set to debut in 2004. This model of the new V8 engine combines two Suzuki motorcycle engines together to create the 8 cylinder racing sensation. 

Next stop - the giant warehouse where Radical Motorsport builds each component of the car in their state-of-the-art facility. Paul and John are joined by Mick Hyde, one of the owners of Radical Motorsport, and they posed for a picture next to the new Turbo Model. Radical West already placed their order for the turbo SR3, which will be ready to ship by early 2004. Pictured from left are Paul Dujon, Mick Hyde and John Morris. 

This is the mold used to create the distinctive body style of the SR3. 

The engines are built and tested in the center of the huge warehouse in Radical Motorsport’s high-tech engine room.
