Tracquest Event at Willow Springs Raceway
Team Radical West dominated the 2.5 mile “big track” at Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, California. The event, sponsored by Tracquest was held on the weekend of September 13-14, 2003 on the “Fastest Track in the West.” The temperatures that weekend were as HOT as the Radical cars on the track.
Team Radical West members who participated in the event were: John Morris, in his British Racing Green SR3

The weekend began with Todd Serota’s Drivers meeting where he announced the presence of Team Radical West members. In attendance were approximately 17 instructors and 25 participants. The Radicals drove in the fast Red Group in which the rules allowed for passing nearly anywhere on the racetrack. The other drivers were enthusiastic about taking a ride in the Radicals.
Over the next two days Team Radical West members took Tracquest participants for thrilling rides on the racetrack. All of the comments received by the Radical Riders were VERY postive, and we are confident that the Team will be growing quickly in the upcoming months.

Ken Melgoza, Radical West customer and owner of a Radical “C”, drove the “pace car” in the ride around the giant California Speedway Oval for event participants. Ken is pictured at left in John Morris’ Viper GTS Final Edition, recently enhanced to 750 horsepower. 
John Morris, CEO of Radical West, donated his time to fly his Robinson R-44 Helicopter over the California Speedway racetrack for videographers to photograph the event. 
Team Radical West was happy to welcome Tim Greaves, one of the owners of Radical Motorsport, Ltd. in Peterborough, England, for a visit to our brand new showroom in Anaheim, California. Tim stopped for a few days on his way back home after visiting Malaysia and participating in an Enduro Race in Kuala Lumpur. The Radicals placed very high in the race.During his visit, Tim met and visited with members of Radical West, including John Morris, Justin LaJoie, Marc Brewster, and Jerra Morris. On Thursday, September 4, Tim had the opportunity to participate in a Private Track Day event for prospective Radical customers held at Buttonwillow Raceway.Thanks for visiting, Tim!
