Radical West Racing Plans for a Busy Season
As we enter the New Year, the staff at Radical West Racing is working to organize and participate in events that will showcase the Radical’s awesome speed and “totally unfair” ability. Events on the calendar include SCCA and ARC races, track events set up by established and new event planners, private Radical Race Days, and much more.

We are pleased to announce that Radical West Racing has been appointed as the EXCLUSIVE distributor for Radical Extreme Sports Cars in the southwestern states of California, Nevada, and Arizona. As an exclusive distributor, we are committed to creating an active Radical market in the United States, including the introduction of an extensive local dealer network for repair, service and parts for Radicals in your area. (See below for our first two dealers.) At the close of 2003, we placed deposits on 12 new custom-built Radicals and will be scheduling delivery throughout the first few months of 2004. There’s still time for you to pre-order a Radical in the color and options of your choice. Call us TODAY to purchase YOUR Radical so you can participate in this season’s exciting events. Radicals Sweep Top Positions in SCCA Regional
Radical Extreme Sports Cars made a spectacular showing in the Final 2003 SCCA Regional Standings, as the awesome Radical SR3 machines and their drivers finished the year in the top three positions in the CSR Class. The results were posted recently on the Cal Club website, a region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), the largest car club in the world dedicated to motorsports and the motorsports enthusiast. Here are the final standings:
1st Place - David “DJ” Johnson
2nd Place - John Morris of Team Radical West
3rd Place - Mark Dalen
Two additional members of Team Radical West who raced for only a few months this year were also top contenders: Fabian Okonski placed 6th, and Justin LaJoie placed 7th in the same CSR class.
Congratulations to Team Radical West and to all the Radical drivers!
Radical West Racing’s Grand Opening Celebration
A crowd of Radical West Racing supporters, including clients, prospects, staff, family and friends gathered on a rainy Sunday afternoon on December 14, 2003 to celebrate the GRAND OPENING of our 7300 square foot showroom, parts and service center in Anaheim Hills, and to commemorate the end of a very successful year.

Guests enjoyed cocktails, music, video presentations on a plasma display at the entrance, a buffet of tasty hors d’oeuvres, and an impressive rotating ice sculpture with the Radical Logo etched inside. The Radical West Grand Opening celebration was the perfect opportunity for friends and supporters of Team Radical West to gather together in a festive holiday atmosphere. Early in the evening, an enormous SUV limousine delivered approximately 20 members of the Masserati Club to the party. The Masserati Club members happened to be in the area at a convention in nearby Anaheim, and were eager to preview the new SR3 Turbo. John Morris, Owner of Radical West Racing, purchased the first Turbo in the world (Serial Number 1) which had been air freighted over in late November. Morris won an Inaugural race at Thunderfest on November 23, 2003 in his new turbo machine. |

Glenn and Matt will join Team Radical West members and other Radical owners as they continue to be seen more and more on racetracks across the region. The ultimate goal of Radical West Racing is to create our own “Totally Unfair - Totally Radical” class and begin a race with a full 32-Radical car grid. Looks like we’re getting a little closer to our goal every month.

New Radical-Registry Launched by ARC
Two members of Team Radical West, Troy Allison and Dave Mills, recently announced the launch of a fabulous new resource - the Radical Registry. On the registry you will find a wealth of information on other owners, setup, repair, part sourcing, dealers, vendors, racing tips/tricks, owner chat, and much more. What’s even better is you can help make this resource more valuable by adding your own findings for others to benefit.
As you browse, you’ll see that Troy and Dave are adding quite a bit. Some of the information is still being accumulated, but overall it’s growing. The registry is starting as a template, as the website grows, your feedback and data is incorporated, you’ll see the evolution of this resource into a must have. Troy and Dave are especially interested in YOUR experiences, what you’ve found while driving the Radical.
Troy and Dave are co-founders of the innovative and progressive American Racing Club. Radical West plans to participate in all of ARC’s races during the upcoming season. This site is designed for the use of Radical owners/drivers - all Radical owners are welcome to enroll in the Registry.
