Team Radical West Attends Touring Car Club Track Event

On February 28-29, 2004, Team Radical West drove up to Buttonwillow Raceway to make an appearance at the first Touring Car Club Track Event of the year.  Team members who participated in the event included John Morris, and Glenn Scott, who was trying out his new SR3 for the first time on the Buttonwillow race track.  Radical West Racing’s Service Manager, Marc Brewster, also attended along with John’s wife, Jerra Morris

This weekend marked the first event in which Radical West Racing participated that was sponsored by Touring Car Club.  TCRA is a car club for road racing enthusiasts. It is professionally operated with events at Willow Springs, Buttonwillow, California Speedway, Laguna Seca, Sears Point, and Las Vegas. In a typical weekend event, there’s six practice sessions plus your officially timed “qualifying-style” laps or 10-15 lap sprint race.

Team Radical West members were practicing their driving skills in preparation for upcoming SCCA, ARC races, and track events this season.  The awesome performance and speed of the Radicals was noticeable on the track, as team members passed all of the other cars on the track with ease.   Bruce Christian, of Bakersfield, California, test drove an SR3 for the first time, and everyone enjoyed a fabulous weekend.
