Radical West Racing is off to a Rolling Start in March
with the Purchase of Spring Mountain Motorsports Club

Radical West Racing is pleased to announce that we have officially entered into a Purchase Agreement with Spring Mountain Motorsports Park in Pahrump, Nevada.  At the close of escrow in June 2004 Radical West  Racing will be the proud new owners of a challenging and well-designed 2.2 mile race track in an historic desert town, 45 minutes outside of Las Vegas.   Pahrump is a Paiute Indian word, meaning ‘water on the rock.’  The race track is situated on 193 acres of land on an aquifer, a resource that nurtures an expanding population.

Along with the purchase of the race track, we will also be taking over operations of one of the most well-respected and renowned Driving Schools in the country, Bragg-Smith Advanced Driving School, now hosted at Spring Mountain Motorsports Club track.   Rupert Bragg-Smith, a successful businessman, entrepreneur, and current Owner of the race track and the Advanced Driving School, purchased his own land and then designed and built a road course that is completely booked for the entire season.  In addition to being used used by his Corvette Driving School, Rupert also rents the track out to event companies, and for testing by automotive manufacturers and racing teams. John Morris, CEO of Radical West Racing, is thrilled about this latest acquisition.  He reports, “We have always enjoyed driving our Radicals on the well-designed and efficiently run Spring Mountain race track, and have followed with interest Rupert Bragg Smith’s outstanding reputation within the racing industry.  We are looking forward to working with Rupert and Ann on this purchase and on an ongoing consulting basis in the future.  After the close of escrow we have many exciting development plans that will be unveiled in the very near future.” Radical West Racing will be continuing operations on the existing Corvette Driving School, and starting a Radical School at Spring Mountain Motorsports Park.  In addition we will be announcing some plans for property development through U.S. Racing Club (see below.)  Check back with us often….we’ll keep you updated through this newsletter.

U.S. Racing Club - a Private Placement Offering
for Country Club Style Race Track Operations

You don’t have to play golf to join this country club!  U.S. Racing Club was founded to enable motor sports clubs, sports car owners and race car enthusiasts exclusive race track time at various locations throughout the country, via company-owned race track complexes and land/track leases from existing race tracks.

U.S. Racing Club will be booking a significant amount of track time at Spring Mountain Motorsports Park in the Driving Schools and for track rental on behalf of their exclusive members.  In addition, the company intends to buy and/or build 3-5 motorsport complexes in the Southwest U.S. over the next three years and explore other leasehold opportunities. Membership categories for U.S. Race Club include “Corporate Members,” who are given preferential status for track times as well as other elite benefits.  “Executive Members,” for local members who plan to use the track and facilities often, and “General Members,” for others. John Morris, CEO of Radical West Racing, is on the Advisory Council of U.S. Racing Club and is a major shareholder.  Kent Broussard, President and CEO of U.S. Racing Club, is an entrepreneur who has worked on Wall Street as a stock broker, Manager and Regional Manager in New York City for more than seven years and most recently as Sr. Vice President of a mid-sized Investor Relations firm with offices in New York and California.  Kent also has considerable experience in raising capital for both Initial Private Offerings and Private Placements.  He currently devotes all of his time to raising capital for the company.

The company is currently seeking initial capital through a Private Placement Offering.  Interested parties are encouraged to contact Kent Broussard directly:

The Viper Days event was the first time the newly delivered Radical SR4 was driven on the racetrack by John Morris, CEO of Radical West Racing.  Radical West Racing had just picked up the car the day before the event, after it was air freighted in to Los Angeles International Airport from the factory in England.  Team members and spectators were impressed by the speed and versatility of the newly designed SR4.

On Saturday night the Viper Days organization hosted a sumptuous feast at the Sheraton Hotel in Bakersfield, where track awards and door prizes were given out to participants. Viper Days is the “Official” driving school of the Viper Club of America and is the only nationally recognized driving school & Challenge Series for Dodge Vipers.  Team Radical West enjoys the camaraderie and fun with this skilled group of Viper drivers, and gives high marks for the manner in which the club is run by proprietors Skip & Courtney Thomas.   We would like to thank the Viper Days organization for providing consistently fun, professionally run and well organized events.

Radical West Racing Partner - American Racing Club

Radical West Racing is pleased to participate in events sponsored by some of the finest track event organizations in the industry.  This month we are featuring American Racing Club, a clear alternative to how club racing has been run for the past fifty years.

Troy Allison & Dave Mills in their Radicals at an ARC Event

The American Racing Club (ARC) has announced its 2004 California racing championship. A challenging drivers series of thirteen races at four of California’s best  tracks. Some of the top drivers will be pitted against each other under a unique format and clean racing rules. Rather than having a group of homogeneous cars run together classing will instead be closely matched drivers of various types of cars in the same class, all running roughly the same lap times.

Don’t think for a second that this is going to be a ’soft’ racing experience.  It’s going to be hugely competitive, laced with excitement and action, providing every bit of thrill any other series provides, and then some.  Drivers will be able to spend their time and dollar budget on tires or fuel instead of repairing car-contact damage.  Add to that a dollar credit awarded to the racer based on where they finished, offsetting some of the costs of racing.  Now those are a few reasons to race ARC.

Troy Allison and Dave Mills are the co-founders of ARC.  In addition, they are are Radical SR3 owners and members of Team Radical West Racing.  Troy and Dave’s philosophy is to put racing back into club racing, by creating a safe but low overhead environment with practice, qualification, and two races in one day for each driver.

Team Radical West members plan to participate in most or all of ARC’s events this year, and we are always impressed with the well-organized and driver oriented atmosphere found at Troy and Dave’s events.

Be sure to visit ARC’s website for their 2004 Event Schedule.  We’ll see you at the racetrack!
