| David Koller Wins SCCA Race in Texas with his NEW Radical SR3 |
|

David Koller in his New Radical SR3 at Texas World Speedway |
| Congratulations are extended to Radical West Racing client David Koller from Houston Texas, who won his first SCCA race in his class driving his brand new Radical SR3 last weekend! David’s hot yellow Radical SR3 was air freighted from the factory in Peterborough to Houston International Airport. Time was of the essence as David’s car had landed, had been offloaded and cleared customs just in the nick of time - only one day before qualifications at the Aggienapolos 500 at Texas World Speedway. |
|
| Radical West Racing sent expert crew member Todd Joyce down to Houston to assist David with the car for his first event, and we’re proud to announce that he took the podium with a first place win in the CSR Class at the SCCA race. David was pleased with the Radical SR3 performance and Radical West Racing service, saying, “The car was GREAT and Todd was better. There was not one bolt, screw, bracket, wire or anything that Todd didn’t check at least three times. In fact I think he wore out the hood brackets taking off the hood so many times. If he could come to all my events that would be great, I did not lift a finger all weekend!” |
 |
| David plans to race in the Houston Regional SCCA events and to participate in other track events in the area. In addition, we’re hoping to talk David into attending a few track events in California, Nevada and Arizona with the rest of the team. We’re thrilled about David’s win and look forward to reporting many more exciting accomplishments for all of the members of Team Radical West. Congratulations David! |

| Radicals Featured in June 2004 Edition of Automobile Magazine |
| |
|
Team Radical West cars were featured in the June edition of Automobile Magazine, in an article entitled “The Radical Solution.” As the article subtitle reads, “An upstart British racing-car manufacturer provides the ultimate in track-day performance.” To experience a full-on track-day racing fantasy, some drivers turn to the Radical - a vehicle not available at your local dealership.
Preston Lerner, a contributing Automobile Magazine writer, experienced the Radical first hand and wrote, “On the track, the Radical immediately impresses you with its agility - no surprise, since the SR3 weighs only 1100 pounds. With four-pot calipers at all four corners and not much mass to stop, deceleration is so abrupt that you’ve got to hurry to get all the downshifts done in the braking zone. In short, the Radical feels lot like a full-bodied, well-mannered formula car.”

On a sunny and bright weekend in May, members and staff of Team Radical West Racing traveled to Willow Springs Raceway in Lancaster, California, to participate in Tracquest’s latest event. Team members who were in attendance were John Morris, Ken Melgoza, Marc Futterman, Bob Majorino, Tim Day and James DiIorio. Radical staff members Marc Brewster, Todd Joyce and David Thompson were also on hand to work with the team, along with Event Coordinator Laura Kunde. Also enjoying the event were friends and family members of the team.

In California, TracQuest currently holds events at The Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca, Infineon Raceway (formerly Sears Point), Thunderhill Raceway, Buttonwillow Raceway Park and Willow Springs Int’l Raceway (big track), and has also done events at Spring Mountain in Pahrump, NV. TracQuest DE events are widely known for safety, excellent instruction, awesome food, tons of high quality, low traffic track time and perhaps best of all, great people.
The Radical West team members had a memorable experience on the “fastest track in the West” with theTracquest participants, and we look forward to attending many more fun Tracquest events in the future. We would like to thank Todd Serota for planning a great weekend.

| Radical West Racing Attends Private Track Event at Thunderhill Raceway |
|

Radicals line up on the grid on a beautiful morning at Thunderhill
|
| On Wednesday, May 26, 2004, Team Radical West Racing members traveled up north to Thunderhill Raceway to participate in Phillip Holmes’ private track event. Team Radical West members who participated in the event were John Morris, Bob Majorino, James DiIorio, Glenn Scott, Elliott Brainard, and prospective Radical owner Russ Jeter. Over 60 drivers attended this highly anticipated event. Radical West crew members Marc Brewster, David Thompson and Todd Joyce were also on hand to assist the team. It was a perfect spring day in Willows, California, with great track conditions, and the team got up early to have breakfast and head down to the track. First on the agenda was the driver’s meeting where Phillip instructed the participants on safe driving techniques and passing rules. Phillip’s events are great for those who love to get a LOT of track time as there are only two run groups so everyone had a chance to practice their technique.
The participants drove a variety of cars - Porsches, NSX’s, Hondas, and even a Saleen Custom Built car - all driving together on the challenging Thunderhill track. Several prospective Radical owners went for rides in the cars and they unanimously agreed that the Radical was the fastest thing on the track. All of the Radical West team members enjoyed their track day tremendously and we look forward to Phillip’s next event.
We would like to thank Phillip Holmes and his staff for a fabulous track day. |
