Nevada-based firm adds on to its existing track to create a total of 3.5 miles for driving school students.

(Pahrump, NV – December 15, 2005) – Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch today announced the expansion of its existing racetrack. The Nevada-based Motorsports Ranch is also home of Spring Mountain Advanced Driving School, an acclaimed Corvette Advanced Driving School at the facility.

Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch Expands Track and Program Offerings Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch home of the Spring Mountain Advanced Driving School and race car importer/distributor Radical West Racing has expanded their existing 2.2 mile 10 turn track to include an additional 1.5 miles and ten corners making for a 3.7 mile road course with as many as 18 possible different configurations. The new West Track, also known as the Radical Loop, was designed specifically with the Radical race cars in mind. The track expansion consists of off camber and banked turns as well as an elevation dip aptly named “The Drop.”
Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch has also added a 5000 square foot building to house the Corvette advanced driving school and host corporate events and plans to break ground on a new 8000 square foot facility which will be the home of Radical West Racing.
The continued success of the Spring Mountain Advanced Driving School had given rise for the need of additional track space. “The Corvette programs have become so successful that they monopolized most of the available track time on the original 2.2 mile course. The need was there to develop a new track to expand our corporate events business, offer track rental to our existing clients, and have a dedicated course to run the Radical race cars,” said Dave Petrie, general manager. “We are very excited for what 2006 has in store.”
