It’s been a phenomenal year with lots of activity at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch. The first half of 2007 brought many exciting changes, including the inauguration of a new Lotus Performance Driving School, talented new staff members on board, and MORE new development projects, including spectacular new CLUB SPRING MOUNTAIN amenities, to improve your overall experience at our remarkable facility. By popular demand, for the first time EVER in the history of Spring Mountain, we are opening our track to students during the summer months! We are thrilled to announce COOL new Summer School Specials, with opportunities to experience a 1-, 2- or 3-day class at low discount prices; just in time for your scheduled summer vacation days. WILL learn things that actually apply to everyday driving. Plus you get to
aggressively drive C6’s, inc the Z06.By comparison, I did the Bondurant school
last year and it was fun. But the Mountain is fun AND informative. Great

I took the level 1 class w/ my Dad and brother last May. It was incredible! It
looks like they’ve opened up the full track now to the class, and you’ll love
it. Can you tell that I liked the class?? On a serious note, you’ll learn a lot.
I thought that I was a decent driver before attending, and soon realized just
how much I didn’t know. This was the best “mad money” that I’ll ever spend. Most
of all…have fun! |

THE NEW LOTUS PERFORMANCE DRIVING SCHOOL

| Exciting news! We are pleased to announce a NEW affiliation with Lotus Cars, USA to operate a Lotus Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch. Plans are currently being finalized for a 1- and 2-day program for Lotus owners or anyone interested in an exhilarating experience at the track. If you’ve been to Spring Mountain lately you can’t miss the line-up of colorful and POWERFUL Lotus performance vehicles, ready for your use in class. At the Lotus Performance Driving School, the Lotus will be your classroom. A two-way radio in every car maximizes your time in the driver’s seat and delivers instant feedback right on the track. It’s like having your instructor right in the car with you for every corner, every straight, and every lap. As with our Corvette Advanced Driving School programs, our Instructors are dedicated professionals who are there to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from class in a fun and safe environment.The Lotus Performance Driving School will be held on the challenging 1.5 mile track that was purpose-built for training. From its elevation to its wide variety of corners, this course will keep your Lotus in constant transition and your skills in constant check. | FACILITY UPDATE |
| At Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, enhancing and improving our facility is our primary objective. From our beautiful new front entrance, to additional storage garages and TWO state-of-the-art new buildings, we are constantly enhancing our motorsports ranch to benefit our valued students, clients and Club members. With a goal of providing you the most innovative facility for racing and training in the region, ground has been broken and construction underway on several new development projects. We are pleased to announce that our second phase of construction on the Club Spring Mountain Storage Garages is nearly complete, and we expect finishing touches within a month or two. Priority rates and garage choices are provided to Club Members. Construction on our new Corvette Building, dedicated exclusively to operations for our Spring Mountain Advanced Driving School, is now underway, with completion expected this fall. We are bursting at the seams of our current location, so this project is scheduled to be ready for the 2007 school season in September. The 8500 square foot facility, located near our original 2.2 mile race track, will be larger and more modern, with additional space for class operations, offices for personnel, and storage for our growing fleet of late model Corvettes for your use in class. The Club Spring Mountain Members Clubhouse is currently being graded with an estimated completion date by the end of 2007. Our fabulous new clubhouse, exclusively for members of Club Spring Mountain, will feature 9000 square feet of deluxe amenities, including a plush lounge area with a full kitchen for entertainment, an elevated viewing station, Plasma TVs for watching track activities, spa area, Jacuzzi, and much more.Please feel free to call us for additional information about any of our new development projects in the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch master plan. | CORVETTE HAPPENINGS |
| By Janet Curran Corvette Track Days were held recently at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch on a sunny weekend in April. Over 100 drivers gathered from many states including Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Missouri, Illinois, Minnesota and Pennsylvania.Raffle prizes included brake lines, gift certificates, apparel and posters. A first time event was the raffle for a 3-Day, Spring Mountain Driving School with all proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society. We are pleased to announce that Art and Joyce Majors won the 3 Day Driving School, who in turn donated it back for another auction where it raised even more money. Corvette people are very generous and they just kept giving until we had raised over $8000 to fight the big fight. Hot Nevada Vettes held their inaugural car show and rally at the Spring Mountain upper paddock during the Corvette Track Days and both groups joined together for parade laps, dinner and fun. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the participants in Corvette Track Days for their generous donations to this worthy cause. Spring Mountain donated a 3 Day Corvette Driving School to the Corvette Forum for their special St Jude Children’s Hospital auction. $2200 was raised for the Children of St Jude Hospital in Memphis TN.Spring Mountain Advanced Driving School was created to provide a higher level of excitement and passion for driving Chevrolet Corvettes.
