Radical SR5 Debut s at Spring Mountain!
Radical enthusiasts at Spring Mountain are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the SR5 CN Supersport. The latest in the impressive line of Radical extreme sports cars will be flown in to McCarran Airport from the factory in Peterborough England, in time for testing on the challenging Spring Mountain road course. Co-Owner and racer John Morris will drive the new SR5 in the Radical Cup at Willow Springs Raceway on the big track September 1-2, 2007. Spring Mountain Radical Division is the largest Distributor of Radical Sports Cars in the world. We offer a wide range of services to our customers and a well trained staff to ensure the cars are safe and lightning fast. New and resale Radicals are available for sale with prices ranging from $60,000 to $160,000. If you would like to experience the thrill of a Radical first hand you are invited to attend our Radical Experience - Radical Racing School. The Radical Racing School is an intensified two-day program designed to teach our students how to achieve maximum interaction with the Radical SR3 Tracksport. Chevrolet Auto Shows and Exhibit Manager Scott Settlemire visited Spring Mountain to film a few of the 2008 Chevrolet Sport and Supersport models for the upcoming Auto Show season. Monsoon season can be exciting in Pahrump. We expected HOT weather, and we were not disappointed. A monsoon came through and cooled us off with a little rain, then more rain, then even more rain. It finally cleared up but the track was wet and we could not put these shiny new show cars on a wet track. Spring Mountain Operations Manager Victor Resendiz took out the big sweeper and several volunteers took out some of the school Corvettes. Together we managed to dry off the track. It was rough, grueling work to drive these Vettes, but someone had to do it. I was thrilled to be one of the drivers for this shoot. I drove the SS Trail Blazer, the new Colorado and a fabulous new 2008 Jet Stream Blue, 430 horsepower, Z51 Corvette. This Corvette had all of the new goodies including the great sounding NPP Dual Mode exhaust. We had originally planned on recording a Z06 to get the famous Corvette sound, but the new 08 Z51 had the powerful tone that the producer was seeking. Everyone liked this Corvette so much that Spring Mountain purchased it for the driving school.
Camaro Returns to Spring Mountain

 A wonderful surprise was a visit by the Camaro Concept Car that stars in this summer blockbuster movie Transformers. Bumblebee even made a special cameo appearance in the Chevy Auto Show filming. Bumblebee was also available for local media including interviews by the local Pahrump TV channel Sports and Kids Talk programs. Many locals came out to get a good look at this movie star. Be sure to look for the video when you visit the Chevrolet displays at the Auto Shows this season.

Spring Mountain Expansion Plans Heating Up the Nevada Desert!
 Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, home of the Spring Mountain Advanced Driving School, is expanding facilities for our acclaimed driving program. Construction is now underway on our NEW 7,891 square-foot training facility which will be dedicated exclusively to the Spring Mountain Advanced Driving School operations. Features include a classroom with seating capacity for up to 30 students, Plasma TV’s, Apparel Store, Mechanical Shop, Kitchenette, Office Space and storage for our growing fleet of C6 Z51/Z06 Corvettes used exclusively for training.”Our expansion will accommodate the overwhelming demand from new drivers and for people wanting to enhance their own driving skills, even at a professional level,” according to General Manager Dave Petrie. “Our construction schedule is on track, so we’ll be ready for the upcoming season.
