Welcome to 2008 at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch! Our commitment for the new year is to offer MORE options for fun and  adrenaline-packed experiences for our valued clients Thank you for your support as you have helped us reach the goals we’ve set for the new year. Your enthusiasm for our programs and events has allowed us to bring you more variety, more excitement, and more memorable events. 2008 is already off to a fantastic start as construction on the Clubhouse for members of Club Spring Mountain is nearly complete, and we reached new milestones in the number of members who have joined the ranks of motorsports enthusiasts in the  region. Our Clubhouse will feature 8000 square feet of deluxe amenities, including a plush lounge area with a full kitchen for entertainment, an elevated viewing station, Plasma TVs for viewing track activities, spa area, Jacuzzi, and more. As we look back fondly on 2007, improvements to our facilities were a huge priority as we celebrated the completion of new garage buildings and our building dedicated to Corvette Driving School operations. | Club Spring Mountain’s End-Of-The-Year Member BashMembers Vie for Record Lap Times at Spring MountainMembers of Club Spring Mountain, our Private Motorsports Country Club, convened at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch on the final days of 2007 for fun, festivities, and timed lap competitions to set the bar for official Track lap records.
Club Members were invited to “Ring out the Old and Ring in the New Lap Records” with their contemporaries. On December 27-29, 2007 members were treated to a celebration of camaraderie,  speed contests, timed lap competitions, tours of the new Clubhouse under construction, a gourmet catered lunch each day, courtesy of Jolene Shafer, and moijtos at the end of the run sessions.
The December weather was extremely brisk and sunny at 46 degrees on the track, making it a challenge to warm up those tires for the run sessions. Members participated in a year-end Club Meeting, where they gave their opinions on some of the new programs and amenities planned for club members. Guests were invited, and we were were happy to welcome some new members to the club. Transponders were provided for all the members competing in the timed  lap runs. Scores were tabulated by Victor Resendiz and the final times were posted on the official Spring Mountain website.

Congratulations to the Club drivers recording the fastest times of the event: John Morris, driving his Radical V8 set the event lap record for the 3.1 mile loop at 2:15.435, and Gary Weems, driving his Corvette C6 Z06 set the event lap record for the 2.2 mile loop at 1:49.743.  Everyone enjoyed the event, and we look forward to hosting many more similar members-only celebrations in the new year.

The first Corvette Track Days of 2008 is coming soon! On February 9-10, 2007 our track will be filled to capacity as Corvette owners and enthusiasts from all over the country gather at Spring Mountain to celebrate the Corvette with run sessions, fun and festivities. Our dedicated Corvette Track Days sponsors Pfadt Race Engineering and Stoptech will be at Spring Mountain with their displays and cars on the track. Special guests for this event will be Corvette Design Engineer Kirk Binnion and Corvette Brand Quality Manager Art Spong. A special treat will be our new sponsor Mothers Polish & Wax with their large and beautiful display. Don’t miss this event.Exciting News!We are thrilled to announce that Pratt & Miller has partnered with Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch to introduce The Spring Mountain Corvette Driving Experience presented by Ron Fellows, a special driving class for new C6RS owners. Our Spring Mountain instructors are looking forward to working with Ron during this class.
