Highlights of a Momentous Year.

Looking back on a memorable year, additional developments at the facility along with new partnerships and amenities made your Club experience more memorable than ever.

Highlights of 2015 are listed below:

February, 2015 - Charter Member Jeffrey Cheng moved in to his newly-completed home at Spring Mountain Estates...our second member to move into the exclusive 02 jeffery chang homeresidential development.

March, 2015 - Jetpack America announced tandem jetpack flights available for the younger water sports enthusiasts on Lake Spring Mountain.

April, 2015 - Michelin North America and Spring Mountain Motor Resort 03 lake spring mountainand Country Club expanded their partnership with the introduction of the Pilot® Sport GT Race Tire for Radical SR3 and SR8 Sportscars. This new addition now makes Michelin "The Official Tire of Radical West Racing."

04 sm fire engineMay, 2015 - Construction began on the Aquatic Center for Jetpack America Operations and Jetpack/Paddleboard rentals. Plans are in place to transform Lake Spring Mountain into a resort atmosphere with lush landscaping, palm trees, cabanas, fire pits and sports activitites.

June, 2015 - Charter Members David & Daryl Struss moved in to their newly-completed home at Spring Mountain Estates. The Struss' are the 3rd residents to move into the private development.

May, 2015 - Spring Mountain acquired a Classic Fire Truck with a 1600 gallon capacity for emergency services at the facility.

September, 2015 - Lake Spring Mountain introduced new water equipment including paddle boards, pedal boats, kayaks, canoes and mountain bikes that are available for rent by members, students and guests.

October, 2015 - Construction on the Aquatic Center is complete, including resort-style landscaped grounds with a white sand 05 jetpackvolleyball court, a walkway for running, walking or biking, and lush green grasses with palm trees. A Grand Opening celebration was held October 25 with demonstration jet pack flights, paddle boarding, food and drinks.

06 wolfNovember, 2015 - Spring Mountain announced the execution of an exclusive distributor agreement for the United States with Wolf Racing Cars from Italy for the Wolf GB08. Beginning in January 2016, the Wolf Racing Cars will run in Club Spring Mountain's race weekends. The name of the race group was officially changed to Spring Mountain Racing to accommodate the new additions.

Looking ahead, 2016 promises to be even more exciting with continued improvements and big announcements to be revealed in the coming months.

Our progress would never have been possible without the support and enthusiasm of our loyal Club Spring Mountain members who have supported our vision and fueled our progress through the years. Club Race Weekend - January 22-24

Don't miss the FIRST Club race weekend of 2016

Please join us for the next action-packed Club race weekend! Now is your chance to get a head start on the points totals for this07 banquet year's championship. Kelsey Eisenzimer, our Country Club Coordinator, reports that once again we will have a full weekend of racing. The three days of events will include Bracket races on both Friday and Saturday afternoons, plus, back by popular demand will be an Enduro race on Sunday afternoon. As always, we will feature our Miata and Light Sport Racer contests.

08 john wolfThe Wolf Race Car will be making its debut on the track this month! On race weekend you will be among the first in the United States to see 6 WOLF cars in action in a race contest, with both the GB08cn 2-seater and the GB08sm 1-seater competing for points in the Light Sport Racer category. We will be featuring three classes in the race: Rookies (for SR3 and SG08cn cars;) Light Sport (for SR3 and GB08cn cars;) and Unlimited (for SR8 and GB08sm cars.) The extended forecast is showing plenty of sunshine with highs in the high 50's, so come out to race or watch the participants, enjoy the great weather and begin the new year with a visit to your Club.

The Saturday Drivers Meeting begins at 8:00 am, followed by 25 minutes of Orientation laps at 50 mph speeds (flashers required.) 25-minute sessions (Light Sports Racer and Sports Cars) for practice, fun and qualifying will run throughout the day. This month we will feature TWO separate Bracket races (Friday and Saturday,) two Light Sport Racer contests (Saturday and Sunday.) a Miata Race on Saturday and Sunday, and an Enduro race on Sunday. Please refer to the Friday, Saturday and Sunday race schedules for more specific information.

The Andretti "B" 4-mile configuration will be the course for all of the races throughout the weekend, 09 banquetand your Thursday practice session will be held on the same track so you can prepare for the weekend of racing.

Saturday Night Banquet! Please join us for an evening of cocktails, dinner at the Clubhouse on Saturday night, with a delicious menu brought to you by Executive Chef Susan. Throughout the race weekend, buffet breakfasts are included in your race fees. Lunches are 15.00 with pre-registration or $20.00 at the event, and Dinner is $35.00 with pre-registration or $40.00 at the event.

Own a Home at Spring Mountain Estates

Spring Mountain Motor Resort & Country Club's first 15 lake rainbowresidential development, Spring Mounatain Estates, is closer than ever to receiving the final subdivision status. We have several choices of Sunrise, Sunset and Lake views that are still available for pre-order.
