10th Anniversary Celebration

A Fun-Filled Weekend Celebration of a Historical Event

Members and guests gathered last month for the biggest event in Club Spring Mountain history. A fun-filled weekend of activities was enjoyed with two tracks in operation, sports car and radical racing, jet pack demonstration flights, paddle boarding, celebratory dinners, and a beach party with music and dancing. The weekend was a perfect way to celebrate 10 years of exciting developments with our valued Club Spring Mountain members who helped make it all happen.

During the 10-year anniversary celebration of Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club, the grand opening of the new Jetpack America flight center was announced, set for October 16. The event showcased the facility's new freshwater lake and clubhouse, where flight center manager Chris Wilson put on several demonstrations for the crowd of about 150 members, guests, casino executives and local and state politicians. The lake has been planned for several years, so it was with great fanfare that Spring Mountain CEO John Morris announced its official unveiling.

Morris also paid special tribute to two individuals, developer Russ Meads and construction lead Jim Wulfenstein, stating "Spring Mountain racetrack and now the lake would not have been possible without Russ and Jim", and thanked them for their ongoing support since Spring Mountain's initial development project in 2004. During the tribute, Meads and Wulfenstein were also presented with two race-ready Corvettes for the upcoming Corvette Series.

The new lake and aquatic center will be the hub for jetpack flight training for Spring Mountain members, driving school students and visitors from Las Vegas. For those slightly less adrenaline-focused, the facility will also offer paddleboard rentals, featuring Riviera paddleboards, which is the showcase brand manufactured by Spring Mountain partners Brad & Wendy Rambo.

A New Era for Radical

A Radical US Base of Operations Announced

We are pleased to announce a new association between Radical West, USA and Radical North America "RNA". In an effort to streamline communication and support for our valued customers, Radical UK has established a North American base of operations to oversee and manage sales of cars, parts and accessories along with marketing and Customer support. Radical North America is headed by Managing Partner Harry Blazer, a Club Spring Mountain member. The mission of RNA is to optimize the Radical brand through conscientious support of the radical dealer and customer community in North America. It will now be faster and easier for our representatives to contact Radical through US channels. All orders for new cars and marketing information will now flow through the North American office. We fully support Radical North America and feel confident it will elevate communication, service and support of Radical extreme sports cars to new levels.

Club Race Weekend October 17-19

Don't miss all the excitement this weekend!

Join us for another action-packed Club race weekend with perfect fall weather predicted...sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80's for your racing pleasure. The fun begins on Saturday with a Drivers Meeting at 8:00 am, followed by 25 minutes of Orientation laps at 50 mph speeds (flashers required.) 25-minute sessions (Radicals, Miata/Lotus and non-racers) for practice, fun and qualifying will run throughout the day. We will feature TWO separate Radical races...a rookie race and an SR3/Unlimited Contest. A combined Miata/Lotus Race will also be held on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday night Banquet! Please join us for an evening of cocktails, dinner and celebration at the Clubhouse on Saturday night, with a delicious menu by our amazing Executive Chef Susan DeLisle. Throughout the race weekend buffet breakfasts are included in your race fees. Lunches are 15.00 with pre-registration or $20.00 at the event, and Dinner is $35.00 with pre-registration or $40.00 at the event.
