This weekend, September 12-13, members will be running with the Las Vegas PCA on the Andretti “C” 4-mile course. Facility Development Update

Future Plans and New Projects are Moving Along

03 mapAt Spring Mountain, our goal to provide the finest amenities and experiences for our Club members has never wavered. Although COVID slowed our timeline, rest assured we are still moving forward with all development at the track.

Following an extensive land survey we were cleared to add elevations to the north end of our property and Simon Payne will design the new road course. Simon offers an abundance of motorsports experience, design expertise and attention to detail. Construction on the new track extension is expected to begin in the spring of 2021.

04-videoRe-paving of the 2.2-mile North-South track was completed during our shutdown, and the finish work, after a few bumps in the road, was a success. The 'paving without seams' method leads the way for construction on our track extension next spring. Click the photo to watch Alan"Indy Al" Miller run a hot lap on the new road course.

05 mapConstruction on 24 luxury RV parcels will begin in the Fall, with full utilities, including high-speed WiFi, provided to each space. The property for the long-planned RV park boasts spectacular views of Lake Spring Mountain and the surrounding foothills. More details on this project will be revealed in future newsletters.

A Garage Building to include 12 double car spaces, is now in the planning stages due to high demand for vehicle storage. The new building will be located on the south end of the east track paddock, with construction expected to begin this Fall.

06 commercialFinal Water-Sewer Connections have been completed throughout the facility, concentrating on the Clubhouse and Administration buildings.

News on the Commercial Site: Development leader Majestic Realty is expected to file a site plan with the Town of Pahrump this fall, after which construction can begin on a long-planned Casino, a 5-story Marriott Hotel, Restaurant and Retail shops at the entrance to the facility. The project was delayed slightly by the pandemic.

07 eastateConstruction at Spring Mountain Estates, our luxury residential development at the facility with 80 home and mixed-use lots, is moving along with homes in progress on several parcels and more dwellings scheduled to be built this season. We are excited to announce more amenities for our homeowners: a Cactus Park and Pickleball Court are under construction at the entrance to the Estates, between Lots 9 and 10. Two pools are under construction on Lots 9 and 42, so look for some beautiful back yards being completed in the next few months.

The process for obtaining US Fish and Wildlife approval continues and we are moving forward with Tortoise permitting with a target of 2020 year-end for completion.

12 gridlianceTo accommodate an anticipated increase in residential and commercial growth, including Raceway projects, Gridliance, an independent electric transmission utility holding company based in Dallas, TX, and Valley Electric Association, Pahrump's own local utility company, are upgrading their sub-station at the south end of the facility to ensure clean renewable energy options for Spring Mountain and the entire south end of Pahrump. The sub-station is located on property recently purchased from the BLM, and an agreement has been signed for 8 acres of Raceway land to be sold to the power companies to facilitate the project.
