John Morris Purchases Home in SM Estates; Photorealistic Simulators Coming Soon

04 new homeChairman John Morris is spending more time at the track with the purchase of Jeffrey Cheng's luxury home in Spring Mountain Estates. John's current focus is on the master plan for the buildings at Charleston Peak, and he has been working with leading property developers on a local and national level who are interested in building out the Commercial Property in front of the raceway. Developments under his supervision will also include the Go-kart track, where we hope to see equipment back out on the property moving dirt no later than March 2024, and the RV park area. He will be spending most of his time at Spring Mountain, where he is also having a seat poured for a Radical race car that he plans to race this spring.

05 simulatorClubhouse and Drivers Lounge news. Our tracks are currently being digitized and brought into the SIM racing world, starting with Charleston Peak. Multiple simulators will soon be available on the property to let everyone in on the fun and experience the world of racing at Spring Mountain. Some may have experienced our original renderings of Charleston Peak; these new images are complete with a photorealistic rendering of every detail of our tracks, down to the tire walls and lightboxes. Landscaping, curbs, and elevation changes will be accurately displayed to the drivers giving them one more way to shave another tenth of their lap times. Shortly you can expect to see demo units in the clubhouse, or nearby areas, to experience the thrill of Charleston Peak.

New Race Timing System

State-of-the Art GPS Tracking System Testing continues this Weekend

During February's race weekend, we will continue beta testing a new GPS tracking system. This system takes our existing abilities with 08 racingMy Laps to the next level and will enable us to have live tracking of locations and the speed of the vehicles around the track, providing a better understanding to drivers on their segment times, overall lap times, and how to find that last second you've been chasing. We are hoping to have the new GPS transponders in the top 10 qualifiers for Sports Cars and Radicals this weekend. Getting the transponders in multiple cars at a race pace will be a good step in our understanding of how it will interact with the facility and infrastructure. We look forward to seeing how our new system will add to your overall experience at Spring Mountain.
