The Ultimate Driver's Paradise
The Fun Never Stops at Club Spring Mountain
It's a monumental season of development at Spring Mountain Motor Resort & Country Club, with expansion forging ahead in multiple areas of our over 900-acre facility. You are invited to enjoy our unique environment, exceptional staff, and unrivaled hospitality, with more opportunities for fun and excitement as we continue into the spring and summer seasons. As we approach the 19th anniversary of service to the motorsports community, we are thankful for your continued interest and support.
Look for Porsche drivers on the track this month, with the POC running with us May 12-14 on the Charleston Peak 3.23-mile Full course, and drivers from the Las Vegas Region of the Porsche Club of America here on May 26-27 on the Charleston Peak Full 3.23-mile configuration.
Our next race weekend is just a few weeks away, May 18-21, and will include a cornhole tournament, so we hope you can join us for the fun and competition. Looking ahead to June…Elizabeth and Reyna are making plans for the final Race Weekend of the season, set for June 15-17, featuring an Endurance race open to all Club members, and a DJ spinning tunes for the after-party following the year-end awards ceremony. Friday of the June race weekend is the last day for drivers to earn points towards the season, and then Saturday will be a fun track day. It's not necessary to participate in the race season to attend our awards banquet and after-party. Just let us know you're coming, and make your plans now to attend the last few events of the season!
Please join us in welcoming our latest new members, Kha Phan of Cedar Rapids, IA, (referred to us by Club member Mark Ramsey,) and Bruce Semler and Dee Tyler of Bisfork, MT. We look forward to seeing our new members on the track and at the Club!
Please help us verify and update our Club member records. Our Club Coordinator, Reyna Christen, recently sent an email with a fillable PDF file. Please fill out the form and return back to Reyna so that our records are accurate. Thank you
Make your plans to visit Club Spring Mountain and witness for yourself all the changes and improvements in progress this season. We are grateful for your enthusiasm, friendship, and support, and we look forward to seeing you at the Club. As always, our goal is to continue to provide a phenomenal Club experience for you and your guests. See you at the track!
Facility Development Update
4-Story Tower Breaking Ground, Redevelopment of the Lake, plus Karting Demos
We're continuing to make progress with development at the facility this spring. Our 4-story control tower features a section for race spotters and soars 55 feet above the track, providing perfect visibility of the entire Charleston Peak race circuit.
Construction is beginning on this much-anticipated project. The newly-updated design consists of a lower lounge area on the first floor, with the second and third floors designated for track viewing and the fourth floor utilized for race control.
Lake Spring Mountain is undergoing a major redevelopment with 37 RV spaces, a large, resort-style pool, a Pavilion with BBQ stations, and an expansion of the existing Aquatic center. Grading for the RV project, pictured here, is in progress, with approximately 6 weeks of grading expected for the RV pads and filling the lake for the resort-style pool. 20 Casita-style dwellings are expected to be built on the RV pads. The new, resort-style pool will be located between the old island and the Tiki Bar/Aquatic center, and the Aquatic center will be expanded and transformed into a luxury lounge. In addition, a new multi-purpose building of approximately 4,000 square feet, with a complete kitchen, will be constructed at the location of the sand volleyball courts. Replacing the island will be a large palapa with BBQ and fire pits. Four lighted Pickleball courts will be added near the Palapa in front of the multi-purpose building. Additional parking will be built, along with 9 acres of lush landscaping around the palapa. We are expecting the RV park to be completed by the end of summer, with the multi-purpose building to follow. The Pool and Aquatic Center are scheduled to be completed this fall.
Karting Demos! A temporary kart track on the lower half of Charleston Peak paddock is available for the May-June race weekends, where you can test drive our new CRG Centurion rental karts flown out from Italy. No personal karts will be permitted on the temporary track. Final designs and layout are underway for an initial .80-mile pro track, to be followed by another .50-mile track in the second phase for rental karts and kids. The design of the kart track is inspired by the X-Plex Racetrack in Las Vegas, which closed in 2006. Running the full line of CRG karts, Spring Mountain Karting will be offering a limited number of founder memberships, plus regular memberships to Club members, and is expected to be open 5 days per week, Wednesday through Sunday. Installation of the tortoise fence, pictured here, has now begun; grading and paving is expected to be completed this summer, with the operation of the kart track anticipated for the Fall of 2023.
Spring Mountain Estates, our luxury residential development at the facility with 80 home and mixed-use lots, has several projects in the planning stages, according to Russ Meads of Double M Construction. Pictured here is a rendering of the beautiful new home planned for Lot 32, which is currently in Engineering and will be ready to break ground in June.
Other projects at the facility include a renovation of the Fitness Center behind the Clubhouse, with the addition of the latest in high-tech weight-room equipment. This project is expected to be completed in the next few months.

Introducing Reyna Christen
Spotlight on our New Club Coordinator
Many of you have already met our new Club Coordinator, Reyna Christen, and we thought you might enjoy learning more about her background. Reyna Christen is a California native who was the first in her family to graduate high school, attend college, move out of state, and to break many generational cycles. After graduation, Reyna studied and was licensed as an Cosmetologist in 2013. After her first child was born months later, Reyna focused on being a mother and left the shears behind. In January 2015, Reyna moved to Las Vegas with her child to start a fresh chapter of their lives.
Reyna met her husband, Nathan Christen (a Radical shop tech) in 2015, while they both worked at the same company. Nathan had a son from a previous relationship, and the new couple blended their young families together. Reyna missed her family, so the couple moved to California in February 2019, and had their first child together in August, tying the knot in October after a 3-year engagement. In November 2021, they added their last little girl to the family. In 2022, they sold their house in California and bought a new home in Pahrump.
Reyna is currently attending College, majoring in accounting, with aspirations of becoming a CPA and owning her own firm. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, learning new skills, and trying new food dishes. She is of Mexican and Italian descent, so she loves all the foods.
Reyna joined us only a few months ago and members are already commenting on her friendly and efficient manner. She enjoys working at the Club and loves meeting our members and their guests – especially on race weekends. We’re thrilled to have Reyna on our team!
