Building What’s Next
New Construction, Future Concepts, and a First Look at What’s Taking Shape

April arrives at Club Spring Mountain, bringing longer light, warmer afternoons, and a steady rhythm of activity across the property. From early morning track sessions to relaxed evenings by the lake, this is the season where everything begins to come alive again.
That energy is matched by forward movement. At Charleston Peak, construction is progressing on a new 9,000 square foot warehouse facility (rendering pictured above) designed to expand support for our members, with completion now just a couple of months away.

Further enhancements are also taking shape within the Spring Mountain Karting complex. We’re moving forward with a new collection of kart garages (rendering above) designed to support convenience and flexibility for our members. The layout includes a mix of double and single garage spaces, offering a range of options to suit different needs.
While final timelines are still being confirmed, it’s an exciting glimpse at what’s coming next in this area of the property. For those interested in learning more, please feel free to reach out to Thomas Lovelady at thomas@racespringmountain.com.

Looking ahead, early concepts are also taking shape for a new collection of member garages, thoughtfully designed to blend functionality with elevated style. Plans include 6-car garage spaces paired with studio-style lofts above, complete with sleeping areas, kitchenettes, and private baths. Each space is being envisioned with its own distinct character, from clean and classic to a more industrial, loft-inspired aesthetic. Renderings are now on display in the Clubhouse for those who would like a first look at what’s in the works, with early plans pointing toward Spring 2027. Alongside these developments, ongoing refinements and enhancements continue to shape the overall experience, as planning remains focused on the road ahead into 2026 and beyond.

Ready to Race?
A new Race Clinic designed to build confidence, sharpen skills, and get you on the grid

Spring Mountain is excited to introduce a new Race Clinic for our Club members—created for those who are ready to take the next step into racing, as well as seasoned drivers looking to refine their skills.
This is not a traditional driving class. Instead, it’s designed for members with race-prepped cars who may be hesitant to join a race weekend, along with experienced racers who want more focused practice on key elements like race starts, passing, and strategy.
This one-day clinic will cover essential topics, including safety gear, warm-up sessions, qualifying, race strategy, and hands-on practice with race starts and on-track scenarios.
Join us on Sunday, April 26th, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM for a fun, informative, and confidence-building experience.
- Cost: $150 per driver
- Limited to: 15 drivers
- Registration deadline: April 17th
Looking ahead, we’ll also be introducing Driving Clinics, with more details to come. While the Race Clinic is designed for those ready to get on the grid, these upcoming sessions will focus on newer members—covering core fundamentals such as driving technique, car setup, track protocol, and safety. It’s all part of a broader effort to support drivers at every level as they grow their confidence and skills at Spring Mountain.

At Club Spring Mountain, some of the best stories aren’t just about racing, they’re about the people you share the experience with. For longtime member John Saroyan, motorsports has become a family affair built on competition, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Pictured above alongside his brother Mark Saroyan, Club member Randy Gabe, and daughter Kristin Saroyan, John’s racing journey took a meaningful turn when he first brought Kristin out to Spring Mountain during her college years at Johns Hopkins University. What started as a fun weekend quickly revealed Kristin’s natural talent, one that has grown into nearly a decade of racing side by side.
Most recently, the family competed in the wildly entertaining 24 Hours of Lemons in Sonoma, an endurance race known as much for its humor as its intensity. With 141 cars on track, Kristin started in 96th position and worked her way up to 16th in a single stint, helping the team secure an impressive 9th-place finish overall.
But for Kristin, the experience was about more than positions gained. “At first, I was just feeling things out,” she shared. “But after a while, I was flying through the traffic and looking at the other cars as obstacles to move through.” What began as a cautious approach quickly turned into a confidence-building moment, one that reflects how far she’s come.

That growth is no accident. John originally encouraged Kristin to get into racing because of her naturally careful nature, wanting to help her build confidence and embrace a more fearless mindset. Today, that lesson carries far beyond the track.
“It’s been really special,” Kristin says of racing with her dad and uncle. “We’ve spent countless hours driving to Pahrump, talking through races, breaking everything down. I’ve gotten to see how my dad approaches things and how he’s evolved—it’s a perspective I really value.”
Of course, racing with family comes with its own dynamic. John and Mark have developed a reputation, not just for racing, but for their spirited debates. As John puts it, “neither of us is ever wrong.” One moment that still stands out happened years ago at Spring Mountain. Racing side by side out of Jenny’s corner and coming out of the drop, the brothers made contact. John spun. Mark.…kept going, well off track, eventually finding himself so far out that he had to make his way back via Highway 160 and re-enter through the front gate! It’s the kind of story that lives on forever in the paddock.

Now a member for over 13 years, John credits the Club with elevating his experience from casual track days to true wheel-to-wheel racing and building friendships along the way. For Kristin, Spring Mountain has been something personal.
“It really does feel like a second home,” she says. “The facility is incredible, but it’s also the people. You see the same faces, and that means something. I was more intellectual than sporty growing up, so this has been a completely new kind of growth for me.”
That growth, learning to push limits, build confidence, and carry those lessons into everyday life, is what makes the experience so meaningful.
Because in the end, it’s not just about the cars…it’s about the people, the lessons, and the laps you share along the way.

Grand Sport Takes Center Stage
From Engineering to Global Reveal—Spring Mountain Hosts a Defining Moment for Chevrolet

We were proud to host Chevrolet at Spring Mountain for a series of high-profile events surrounding the all-new 2027 Corvette Grand Sport—one of the most anticipated moments in the Corvette world in years.
Beginning in January, Spring Mountain served as the backdrop for multiple General Motors initiatives, including engineering testing, video production, and ultimately a major media launch on March 24th. The final reveal brought together top automotive outlets and influencers from around the world, further highlighting the significance of the moment.
The Grand Sport returns with a naturally aspirated 6.7-liter LS6 V8, producing 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque. Chevrolet also introduced the Grand Sport X, a 721-horsepower all-wheel-drive hybrid stepping in as the successor to the Corvette E-Ray. Our track provided the perfect setting to showcase these incredible machines in motion.
To complement the launch, Spring Mountain hosted an exclusive dinner event where guests experienced the new vehicles up close in a more intimate setting. Events of this scale are no small undertaking, and we’re proud of how seamlessly everything came together, reflecting the professionalism, attention to detail, and hospitality that define the Spring Mountain experience.

April Race Weekend
Racing, disco, and lakeside lounging—April Race Weekend has it all

Join us April 9–12 for Race Weekend at Charleston Peak, running on the South CCW 2.63-mile course. With sunny skies, great racing, themed activities, and time to enjoy the Club, it’s shaping up to be a weekend you won’t want to miss.
Thursday | Kickoff Event
We’re starting the weekend with a Disco Skating Party in the Manufacturer’s Building by the East track—bringing a little extra energy (and sparkle) to race weekend.
Channel your inner disco era—grab your favorite outfit, bring your roller skates, and let’s boogie. Not into skating? We’ll have a dance floor ready for you to show off your best Hustle moves. Costumes encouraged.
- Ladies’ session: 1:00 – 3:00 PM
- Kids welcome: After 3:00 PM
- Note: Please bring your own skates
February’s costumes set the bar high, so we can’t wait to see what everyone brings for April. Childcare is available during the ladies’ session—just let us know in advance if you plan to bring a little one.
