Welcome to Club Spring Mountain, a luxurious, convenient facility with the perfect environment to mingle with friends and 
relax after a long day of adrenaline filled racing. Warmer days are ideal for paddle-boarding and water-propelled jet-packing on Lake Spring Mountain. Enjoy all the comforts of home in the Clubhouse, work out in the fitness center, practice shooting in the gun range or the desert, lounge poolside, or schedule a massage with Tina, our amazing massage therapist. Discover your inner child as you zip along the desert in an all-terrain vehicle (as Doug Ramirez and Prince Oliver von Anhalt are shown doing here.) To promote mind-body wellness we are happy to announce Yoga classes are now being held in the Racquetball court. With so many activities to experience along with the rush of driving on the challenging track configurations, more members than ever are making memories at “The Club.”
Our Club Race Weekend will be held on April 25-26, and members are joining the contest in the Miata, Lotus and Radical Race Series. We are happy to announce our new partnership with Michelin USA to offer “The Official Tire of Radical West Racing.” Read about some of the exciting new activities enjoyed by our high-achieving members, and please refer to our Event Calendar to choose your dates to visit the Club this month.

Michelin Introduces the Pilot® Sport GT Race Tire
New Product named “The Official Tire of Radical West Racing”
Michelin North America and Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club have expanded their partnership with the
introduction of the Pilot® Sport GT Race Tire for Radical SR3 and SR8 Sportscars. This new addition now makes Michelin “The Official Tire of Radical West Racing.” The tire was launched March 26-28, 2015 during the Club Spring Mountain race event. Michelin representatives will be present and supplying full engineering support at all future Radical racing events held at Spring Mountain. Tire dealers, racetracks and racers can now purchase the state-of-the-art racing slick directly from Spring Mountain.
“The Pilot Sport GT combines a high level of peak grip and good wear with excellent predictability and progressivity, making it well suited to broad range of driver and vehicle performance capabilities within the radical racing series,” said Ken Payne, Motorsports Technical Director, Michelin North America.
“We are excited to complete the Michelin partnership to cover all of Spring Mountain’s tire needs,” said John Morris, CEO and co-founder of Spring Mountain Motor Sports and Country Club. “The new Michelin tire gives our members the manufacturing support they’ve been missing. We look forward to providing the Radical community with the tires and service now based within the United States.”
Until now there has not been a partnership within the United States that provided Radical Sportscars with a racing slick tire. The Michelin Pilot® Sport GT Race Tire is now available by calling Radical West Racing at Spring Mountain.
Club Race Weekend – April 25-26
April’s “Fun in the Sun” Race Contests are this Weekend
Join us for another action-packed Club race weekend, with sunny and mild weather in the forecast. 
Beginning on Saturday with a mandatory Drivers Meeting at 8:00 am, orientation laps at 50 mph maximum (flashers required) will start at 8:30. Directly after the orientation, 25-minute run sessions (Radicals, Sports Cars and non-racers) will be held throughout the day, with three race categories including Radical Rookie, SR3/Unlimited Radical, and Miata/Lotus on the docket. The day ends with open lapping and a tire scrub session. Once again this month we will feature TWO separate Radical races…a rookie race and an SR3/Unlimited Contest. A combined Miata/Lotus Race will also be held on Saturday and Sunday.
This month’s race weekend will feature the Lauda “C” 2.6-mile road course with two long straights on both Saturday and Sunday. Prepare for the weekend of racing on Friday on the Lauda “C” so you can master the style of this configuration. On Thursday members will run the 1.5-mile course.
Rentals of our luxury-style loft condominiums can be arranged through Erik Odegard, Members Coordinator. Our condominiums feature all the comforts of a high-end hotel with the perfect trackside location, so invite your guests to stay with us on race weekend and enjoy all the amenities we have to offer. Members will have full use of the Clubhouse beginning on Thursday through the weekend. Executive Chef Susan will be hosting member lunches on Thursday and Friday practice days in the Clubhouse.
Radical Race fees are $200.00 per day for members participating in the Radical Race, and a $250.000 track support fee per day. Please note that in order to ensure we have sufficient race support staff on hand for the weekend, we need your RSVP as soon as possible. Please contact Erik Odegard with the details of your stay. Erik will ensure you have accommodations for yourself and your guests, along with anything else you may
require while you are here.
Clubhouse Party Saturday night Banquet! You and your guests are invited to join us for an evening of cocktails, dinner and celebration at the Clubhouse on Saturday night, with a delicious menu by Executive Chef Susan. Throughout the race weekend buffet breakfasts are included in your race fees. Lunches are 15.00 with pre-registration or $20.00 at the event, and Dinner is $35.00 with pre-registration or $40.00 at the event.

Out and about with Members Mitch & Kathy Clark and Jeffrey Cheng

We were pleased to welcome Charter Members Mitch Clark and his lovely wife Kathy to the track last week with their stunning Audi R8
LMS from Audi Henderson! After a few laps around the track, needless to say, lapping other cars was not a problem.
Charter Member Jeffrey Cheng recently moved in to his beautiful new home at Spring Mountain Estates, complete with its own airplane hangar. Last week, Jeffrey surprised everyone by making a landing at the back of his home in his own Robinson R-44 Helicopter, which he just flew from John Wayne Airport in OrangeCounty, California. The journey took about 1.75 hours. Jeffrey completely transformed his helicopter with a custom paint job and special interior.
In addition to his Private Pilot Certification, Jeffrey has now accomplished his latest goal of being an official Helicopter Pilot. Flying helicopters is a challenging endeavor requiring superior skills and hours of dedication, but Jeffrey made it look easy. He and his flight instructor came in for dinner, stayed overnight in his home and flew over to the Clubhouse the next day for breakfast. Construction will begin on a helicopter garage soon. Next on Jeffrey’s bucket list….we’re wondering how he can top this!
Yoga for Wellness
Improve your Health and Flexibility with Yoga Classes at the Club
We are pleased to announce Yoga classes are now being held at Club Spring Mountain. The benefits of yoga provide both instant 
gratification and lasting transformation for a healthy lifestyle. The practice of yoga allows students to be still in a world consumed with chaos.
Liz Kruger is recognized as both a registered Yoga teacher and a Certified Ayurvedic practitioner. Her holistic and integrated approach has brought her many loyal followers throughout her 20 years of teaching, and she is well regarded for her ability to offer tools to restore health, balance and well-being to the body, mind and spirit. As a yoga teacher, Liz gives clear and easy-to-follow instructions that show how yoga can be relaxing and fun.
Each class will explore postures (asanas) to open, strengthen, stabilize and cleanse the body. Yogic breathing (pranayama) will revitalize the body, steady the emotions and create clarity of mind. Relaxation techniques will relieve tension and allow your system to rest. Concentration and meditation will still your mind, cultivate contentment and allow you to live in peace.

Spring Mountain Estates Update
More Homes Completed and ready for Occupancy
Imagine driving through a private gate after a day of fun on the track to your own home at Spring Mountain Estates. You can now choose a home site and become a full-time or part-time resident at the Club. Lot sales are moving quickly… John Morris and Jeffrey 
Cheng were the first residents to move in; and David & Daryl Struss’ home is nearly completed. Our first model home is almost finished; and several choices of floor plans will be available with custom building options. Home sites of 1/3 acre, with a building pad of 110’x100′ (depending on the location) are now available for pre-order, and you will have first choice of the location of your parcel with your Platinum membership upgrade. We have received Tentative Subdivision Map approval by Nye County, Nevada, and the final parcel map is still expected in June.
Any membership that is currently in good standing at Club Spring Mountain can be upgraded to Platinum status. In addition to the benefits included in your regular membership, an upgrade to a Platinum membership offers you first choice of the location of your parcel, exclusive private access to the beach and cabanas, more guests allowed per month on your membership, gate passes, and much more. 100% of the $25,000 initiation fee will be applied to the purchase of your parcel.
