Don’t Miss The Final Races of 2011 This Weekend!
Join us for the Biggest Race Event of the Year
The holidays are here and it’s time to celebrate at Spring Mountain Motor Resort & Country Club. 
Be here THIS WEEKEND to watch and/or participate in three big race events….the Miata Series final, the Radical Series final and the Bracket Races December 3-4, 2011. Everyone can have fun, enjoy your fellow members and join in all the excitement. Start your weekend early, as once again this month our valued members will enjoy exclusive use of the full track on both Thursday and Friday to practice for the big race.
We are expecting a big line-up of Radicals and Sports Cars at this race, with drivers competing for big year-end trophies and special prizes. Remember, this is the LAST Club race remaining to accumulate points for the year-end banquet and trophy presentation to be held on Saturday night. The popular new Bracket-style race will be held both Saturday and Sunday, which includes ALL makes of Sports Cars! Please note The Bracket Race will now include Sports Cars ONLY. Slower cars and drivers will start the race with a time advantage over faster and more experienced drivers, so everyone has an equal chance to win the contest.
Please mark your calendars to attend this grand event, which will include back-to-back run sessions all day, a Miata, Radical and Bracket-style race on both Saturday and Sunday, and a special Clubhouse dinner on Saturday night, December 3, 2011 with trophy presentations for all race categories. On Saturday we will be running the 3.4-mile track, and on Sunday the 2.9-mile course will be in use. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served in the Clubhouse each day, and the price for lunches is $15.00 per person with pre-registration or $20.00 at the event, and dinner is $35.00 per person.
Saturday Night Banquet. On Saturday night, December 3 you are invited for celebratory Cocktails in the bar between 5-7 pm, compliments of the Club, 
followed by a festive catered dinner and Awards Ceremony. Celebrate the holidays and the end of the 2011 race season with old and new friends you’ve raced with all year. Don’t miss this fantastic event and year-end celebration. Be sure to RSVP for lunch and dinner to ensure enough food will be prepared for you and your guests. Please let Sabrina know your choice of entree (Filet Mignon or Salmon) for the Saturday night banquet. Menu for the weekend’s events:
Saturday Lunch: Boneless Chicken, Grilled Veggie Platter, Stuffed Mushrooms (cheese) vegetarian, Fresh Fruit Platter, Organic Greens with Pear and Asiago Cheese, Dessert
Saturday Dinner: Open Bar, compliments of Club Spring Mountain – 5pm-7pm Choice of Filet Mignon or Salmon, Asparagus, Scalloped potatoes, Tossed Green Salad, Assorted Desserts
Sunday Lunch: Boneless Pulled Smoked Chicken, Boneless Chopped Brisket, Fresh Garden Salad, Baked Beans, Mac and Cheese, Dessert
Club members are cordially invited to participate in both the Radical and Bracket-style races. The cost for the Radical race weekend for members and guests is $450.00 per day, which includes race fees and full track support. With consecutive 25-minute sessions in Race Car, Sports Car and Novice Groups, you’ll have the time of your life as you compete with your fellow members at this unforgettable weekend race.

Trophy Presentation. We are excited to announce that we will have Perpetual 
Trophies on permanent display at the Clubhouse, engraved with the overall winners in each category every year. In addition to having your name display for all to see in the Clubhouse (and bragging rights) Club Spring Mountain will award the following prizes to the 2011 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Radical winners in each category:

3rd Place – 60 Minute Massage by Tina
Special Award from England….Radical UK, manufacturers of the Radical Extreme Sports Car, has offered a spectacular prize for two lucky Spring Mountain series drivers. Radical UK is offering an all-costs paid drive at Spa Francorchamps in Belgium in 2012 to the top two drivers in the Club Spring Mountain Powertec Race Series for 2011. And, as a bonus, they are also providing a day of testing with a world-class European professional driver. Two prizes will be awarded….to the winners of the SR3 and Unlimited Class categories. Known as “the most beautiful circuit in the world,” Spa Francorchamps’ famous race course is over 4.3-miles long. Prizes are offered only to those who have the most points in the Club Spring Mountain Powertec series, so don’t miss the last Club Race so you can be eligible for the prize! (Prize value – $10,000.)
