A New Season for Fun at the Club
Welcome to Fall at Club Spring Mountain.
Time to rev up your engines for an adrenaline-packed Autumn! Don’t miss all the excitement during
the fall season at Club Spring Mountain, your destination for motorsports and more. Bring the family out to watch the races and to enjoy our sparkling Lake Spring Mountain, offering more amenities than ever, including paddle-boarding, pedal boats, mountain biking and water-propelled jet-packing.
You are in for an ALL NEW track experience this season! After a busy summer of development and high performance driving schools at our 313-acre facility, we’re ready for the biggest and best season of the year. Club members will find MORE reasons to visit with our latest improvements. The Aquatic center is progressing nicely and is nearly complete. Once it’s finalized, the Aquatic center will be the headquarters for all activities at Lake Spring Mountain.
Club Spring Mountain is proud to offer more member track days than any other Club in the country and to provide use of the track every weekend. We have extended the track several times to provide more course variations, amenities and track use to the members.
None of our progress would be possible without your enthusiasm and support, and we thank you for your confidence in us as we continue to provide a world-class Club experience for you and your guests.
Lake Spring Mountain’s New Water Toys
Bike, paddle, pedal, soar and more at your own private water paradise
For a refreshing change of pace from racing, visit our beautiful water oasis at the facility.
Join us for some fun on
the water as we are currently renting paddle-boards, kayaks, canoes, pedal boats and mountain bikes. Club Spring Mountain members can rent any of our equipment at a special price of $20.00 per hour (price for the general public is $30.00 per hour.)
Or, if you are in the mood for a faster-paced adrenaline rush on the water, you should check out a Jetpack or Jetblade experience! To give you a taste of how you can soar above the earth in a water-propelled jetpack, we offer various types of Jetpack experiences for new and returning pilots. We are in the planning stages for lots of amenities and fun events in the near future, such as movie nights on the lake with inner tubes in the water, drinks and appetizers at our soon-to-be-constructed Tiki Bar, beachside Cabanas, off-road trails for mountain biking, paddle-board lessons, private parties for birthdays and bachelor parties, and concerts by the lake!

Members are making headlines throughout the US and Europe
Charter Member Gerhard Watzinger had a good day in the office as he logged TWO podium finishes at Virginia International Raceway the weekend of August 29 in the IMSA series, Cooper Tires Prototype Lites. Gerhard drove his Radical #28 to dominate in the race. The top drivers in IMSA usually get rides in racing series such as Tudor Series and even INDY. Nice job Gerhard!
Congratulations to Platinum Member Jeffrey Cheng and his team mate Matt Halliday on their 3rd place finish in the IMSA Super Trofeo North America race at VIR in August. You’ve heard about Jeffrey’s beautiful Lamborghini race cars in previous newsletters, and now you can read about his latest race.
Platinum member Ron Fletcher had the opportunity to drive a Radical on the iconic Spa Francorchamps racetrack in Belgium at the Radical Championship race September 5, followed by a run in a track BMW with roll cage on the famous Nurburgring in Germany! Ron reports that he had the time of his life at these famous European venues. View the video footage from Race 1.

Club Race Weekend – September 26-27
Come join the fun and competition this weekend!
Join us for another action-packed Club race weekend, with sunny skies and warm temperatures expected for
the big event. We’re hoping to have a great turnout from members and guests with a full grid of contenders vying for points and year-end trophies. If you haven’t visited us for a while, you should come out to watch or participate in the “gentleman-style” racing and see all the exciting new improvements.
Beginning on Saturday with a mandatory Drivers Meeting at 8:00 am, orientation laps at 50 mph maximum (flashers required) will start at 8:30. Directly after the orientation, 25-minute run sessions (Radicals, Sports Cars and non-racers) will be held throughout the day, with three race categories including Radical Rookie, SR3/Unlimited Radical, and Miata/Lotus on the docket. The day ends with open lapping and a tire scrub session. This month we will feature ONE exciting Radical race for all three classes…Rookie, SR3 and Unlimited. A combined Miata/Lotus Race will also be held on Saturday and Sunday.
This month’s race weekend will feature the Andretti “C” 4-mile road course with sweeping curves and long, high-speed straights on both Saturday and Sunday. Prepare for the weekend of racing on Friday on so you can get ready for the big competition.
Rentals of our luxury-style loft condominiums can be arranged through Kelsey Eisenzimer, our new and very efficient Members Coordinator. Our condominiums feature all the comforts of a high-end hotel with the perfect trackside location, so invite your guests to stay with us on race weekend and enjoy all the amenities we have to offer.
Radical Race fees are $200.00 per day for members participating in the Radical Race, and a
$250.00 track support fee per day. Please note that in order to provide sufficient race support staff on hand for the weekend we need your RSVP as soon as possible. Please contact Kelsey with the details of your stay. Kelsey will ensure you have accommodations for yourself and your guests, along with anything else you may require during your stay.
Saturday night Banquet! Please join us for an evening of cocktails, dinner and camaraderie at the Clubhouse on Saturday night, with a sumptuous menu by Chef Susan. Buffet breakfasts are included in your race fees. Lunches are 15.00 with pre-registration or $20.00 at the event, and Dinner is $35.00 with pre-registration or $40.00 at the event.
