Club Spring Mountain News – Summer 2011
Enjoy Resort-Style Amenities at the Club this Summer
All the comforts of home await you at Club Spring Mountain your own private Motor Resort and Country Club.
During the heat of the summer, why not practice your driving skills early in the day (the track is hot at 7 am) and spend the rest of the afternoon cooling off in the pool, playing a game of racquetball or having a relaxing massage. While you’re on the track, your guests can enjoy the luxury of a private club, work out in the fitness center, or relax in the spacious clubhouse and watch their favorite sports team on one of the flat screen TV’s. If you haven’t been to the Club in too long, give yourself a treat this summer and enjoy some motorsports fun.
Construction is progressing nicely this summer on the 16-Unit Condominium Complex in the lower paddock area at the facility, next to the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School operations. The
building is available for rent or lease, and features 16 deluxe condominium units: half with double queens and half with king-sized beds. All units include private baths and wet bars. Five of the units will have rear balconies with great views of turns 1 and 2 and with only 60 feet between your window and the road course… a perfect race viewing point.
The garages on the first floor will be large enough to accommodate multiple cars and extra vehicles, for the multicar race teams or groups of friends who like to share set-up, and will be ready for a classroom setting. The building will also include additional restroom facilities for public access. The building is 15,000 + square feet and we are expecting an estimated move-in date of October 1, 2011, just in time for the fall season.

Club Spring Mountain Hosts Aston Martin Rapide Endurance Test Run
On June 25-26, the editors and drivers of Road & Track Magazine ran a 24 hour endurance test with an Aston Martin Rapide during our regular member weekend. They began their test at 8am Saturday and ran through the night until 8 am Sunday morning. The test ran in conjunction with the Aston Martin Rapide race car that is running the 24 hours of Nurburgring. The comparisons were made between the two cars during the 24-hour run of the street car at Spring Mountain while the race car ran at the the famous Nurburgring track in Germany.
In this video, John Morris,
We would like to thank Road & Track Magazine and Aston Martin for an unforgettable experience for all Club Spring Mountain members. Everyone is looking forward to the next test day.
