2025: A Year of Growth, Momentum, and Meaning
Building for the Future While Honoring Our Legacy
| | |
As we begin a new year at Club Spring Mountain, we pause to reflect on 2025, a year marked by remarkable progress, exciting expansion, and meaningful moments that strengthened our community. From major infrastructure investments to milestone events and new partnerships, the Club continued to evolve while staying true to the vision that defines us.
Here are some of the highlights that shaped the year.
| | |
New Charleston Peak Support Buildings
- Construction was completed on two new 4,800-square-foot buildings located north of the water tanks near the Charleston Peak track. Designed exclusively to support and service members’ sports cars, these facilities represent a major investment in convenience, care, and on-site support.
Karting Facility & Infrastructure Improvements
- Throughout the year, significant enhancements were made to the karting complex, including temporary operational facilities, secure kart storage, and extensive paving of access roads, paddocks, and parking areas — greatly improving accessibility, cleanliness, and overall experience.
| | |
Lakeside Villas & Casitas on the Lake
- The Lakeside Casitas were completed and opened last summer. Thirty beautifully designed casitas, with lake and mountain views, officially welcomed guests in summer, marking a major expansion of on-property accommodations.
The Lake Comes to Life
- The lake was filled and quickly became a centerpiece of the property. Surrounding landscaping, walking paths, and gathering spaces continued to evolve throughout the year, transforming the area into a true resort-style destination.
| | |
Major Karting Events & Growth
-
Spring Mountain Karting Complex proudly hosted Round 3 of the 2025 ProKart Challenge in April, welcoming over 150 racers and hundreds of spectators. Additional ProKart Challenge events and a thriving local karting race season reinforced the strength and momentum of karting at the Club.
New Food Hall & Event Building Planning
- Mike, Shay, and Chef Adam are designing a dynamic new dining and gathering space at the lake while also reimagining the Clubhouse to create a more focused, elevated experience for members and guests. Designed to support large-scale events and buffet-style dining, this future addition, The Commons, will allow for modernization of the existing Clubhouse while enhancing the member experience.
| | |
Charleston Peak Configuration Expansions
- New and reversed track configurations were introduced, including Charleston Peak in reverse and the Full Course reverse — adding variety, excitement, and fresh challenges for drivers.
Guest Services & Lakeside Enhancements
- The newly renovated Guest Services building debuted alongside expanded green spaces, featuring over 20,000 square feet of real grass and more than 200 trees and shrubs, which create a welcoming and relaxed lakeside environment.
| | |
New Trackside Partners & Shop Expansion
A New Digital Home
- The launch of the redesigned racespringmountain.com brought a modern, streamlined online experience — making it easier than ever for members to RSVP, book services, view calendars, and stay connected.
| |
Honoring Our Founder, John Morris
- In May, we lost our Chairman and visionary founder, John Morris. His passion, leadership, and unwavering belief in this community shaped everything we are today. In November, members, family, and friends gathered at the lake to celebrate his life, legacy, and enduring impact on Club Spring Mountain.
| | |
While 2025 brought both progress and profound moments of reflection, the year reinforced the strength of our community and the clarity of our purpose. With strong leadership, continued investment, and a shared commitment to excellence, Club Spring Mountain moves into the new year well-positioned for continued growth — honoring John’s vision while building boldly for the future.
We look forward to sharing what’s ahead with our valued Club Spring Mountain members.

Driving Into 2026
New Enhancements, Continued Momentum, and What’s Next
| | |
As we step into 2026, exciting enhancements are already taking shape across Club Spring Mountain, building on the progress and momentum of the past year. New audio programming is rolling out around the facility, with in-ground speakers now appearing near the lake and podium areas. This addition allows us to better connect with members and guests through curated music and clear PA announcements, enhancing both everyday experiences and special events.
| | |
Momentum continues on HOA common area improvements, with additional landscaping and beautification underway in collaboration with Larry Ricci and the HOA Board. With multiple projects moving forward in parallel, 2026 is shaping up to be a year of growth, meaningful enhancements, and exciting new experiences — with much more to come.

A few important reminders for 2026: All drivers will need to bring their helmets to Courtney at the Driver’s Lounge to receive a new annual helmet sticker; only SA2020 and SA2025 helmets will be accepted, as SA2015 certifications are no longer valid. Additionally, 2026 annual waivers are now available and must be completed for all members and anyone included on your membership.
Daily check-in at the Driver’s Lounge is still required. Members are encouraged to complete their waivers online to save time upon arrival. If you regularly bring vendors, mechanics, or coaches on property, please get in touch with Courtney to receive the appropriate waiver link for your guests.
