Welcome to March at Club Spring Mountain, where longer days are just around the corner, and the energy across the grounds continues to build. With daylight saving time ahead, lighter evenings and golden-hour laps are on the horizon…the perfect backdrop for a season in motion.
This month also brings an exciting evolution in how we stay connected. In addition to this monthly newsletter, we’ll be sharing quick member updates every other week so you can stay connected to everything happening around the Club. It’s all part of our ongoing effort to create meaningful opportunities for connection, both on and off the track.

Whether you’re chasing a new personal best, gathering by the lake, or simply enjoying the lifestyle that makes this community so special, March is a beautiful reminder of why we call this place home.
As the year unfolds, members will begin to notice enhancements taking shape:

Momentum is building at Charleston Peak with construction underway on a new 9,000 sq ft warehouse facility focused on enhanced member support
- Continued improvements and refinements designed to elevate the overall member experience
- Forward-focused planning as we chart the road ahead into 2026
At Club Spring Mountain, progress is intentional, and momentum is constant. There’s always something evolving, and the best is yet to come.

More Ways to Enjoy The Club
Fresh updates, special experiences, and more ways to connect on and off the track
| | Exciting updates and new experiences are planned for members this month: | |
- Race Weekend Friday Night Karaoke — Join us for a fun evening at the Clubhouse… and yes, Courtney has been officially nominated to sing!

Second Track Access (Friday Only) — For this month’s race weekend, the East 2.1-mile track will be available on Friday for non-racers and guests. (This is a one-day opportunity for March only.) We are working on future configurations, and we’ll share a full seasonal announcement soon.

Women Drivers Sessions — March 13 — By popular request, we will host two dedicated 30-minute sessions exclusively for women drivers on the additional track. We’re excited to support and grow our community of women racers.

Ladies’ Event Preview (April Race Weekend) — Mark your calendars for a disco-themed roller skating party in the Manufacturer’s building near the East track. Skates may be limited, so feel free to bring your own — and for those who prefer not to skate, a dance floor will be ready!

There’s already a great buzz around our social events, and with the beautiful weather ahead, we look forward to seeing even more members out enjoying the Club.

Around the Grounds
Life in the Fast Lane at the Spring Mountain Karting Complex

Have you visited the SM Karting Complex lately? What began as a fun addition to the grounds has quickly become one of the most energetic and engaging experiences at the Club. Karting offers pure, accessible motorsports excitement… whatever your skill level.
One of the most joyful surprises around the grounds, karting has truly taken off, bringing together members, families, and friends for an experience that is equal parts competitive, social, and just plain FUN.
From seasoned drivers honing their skills to kids discovering their first taste of racing, the kart track has become a gathering place filled with laughter, friendly challenges, and unforgettable moments — proof that sometimes the biggest smiles come from the smallest cars.

Member Spotlight – Henry Marshall
Team Founder Builds HM Road Racing into a Championship Contender

We are proud to celebrate Club Spring Mountain member Henry Marshall. Henry joined the Club in 2016, where he began working with Driving School Instructor and Coach Brandon Chappell. What started as focused coaching quickly evolved into a competitive journey.
Their campaign began in NASA Endurance Challenge events in 2020, followed by a strategic move into WRL competition in 2024 – a deliberate step toward national-level professional racing. That same year, Henry officially launched HM Road Racing, with Brandon Chappell serving as Team Manager and Matt Swales as Shop Manager and Lead Crew Chief. The results were immediate. In 2024, the team achieved a remarkable 100% Top-5 finish rate in WRL fields, often 25–30 cars deep.
By 2025, Henry advanced to Porsche single-make competition, earning two wins and four podium finishes in his rookie season in the Cayman. The team’s momentum continued with championship performances across multiple classes, including a National Cayman Pro-Am Endurance Championship highlighted by a race win, three pole positions, and a 100% podium rate.

Now in 2026, Henry has stepped into the Porsche Cup competition and is already making his mark; opening the season with a win and a third-place finish.
As HM Road Racing expands, the team looks forward to supporting fellow Spring Mountain members interested in Porsche Cup and Clubsport programs, offering professional-level guidance tailored to each driver’s goals and budget. Follow the team on Instagram.

Spring into Motion March 12-15
Club Race Weekend | Charleston Peak Full CCW (3.23 Miles)

There’s something different about a spring race weekend at Club Spring Mountain. The air is charged with energy, the days are a little longer, and the Charleston Peak Full CCW course, all 3.23 miles of it, becomes the centerpiece of a four-day motorsport experience.
From March 12–15, the Club transforms into its most dynamic self. Engines echo across the property, polished machines line the paddock, and members gather trackside to watch precision driving at its finest. It’s competition, yes, but it’s also community, conversation, and the unmistakable excitement of race weekend.
