Facility Update

Progress on Homes in Spring Mountain Estates

05 propertyAt Spring Mountain Estates, our luxury residential development at the facility with 80 home and mixed-use lots, more members are embracing the Club lifestyle and building their homes at the track.

Russ Meads from Double M Construction reports that both Jim and Steve Wulfensteins’ homes are finishing up next week and they will soon be new residents of the Estates. The crew is close to completion on Phase 1 of Lot 62 and will be starting Phase 2 within the next couple of weeks. Russ is also working on designs for three new projects in the Estates, so we should be seeing more construction around the track in the next few months.

Estate ownership offers members instant access to all of the amenities offered at the facility, just minutes from your front door. To own your own parcel in Spring Mountain Estates, contact Mike Weeks, VP Sales, via email mike@racespringmountain.com or by phone at 949-235-7810.

New Radical SR-10

Members Weigh-In on Radical’s Trackday Sensation

06 videoThe results are overwhelming: members are amazed by the latest addition to Radical’s fleet of sports racing cars which is now a best-seller at Spring Mountain. Recently Club members were invited to sample the latest phenomenon in sports car racing and driving - the new, acclaimed Radical SR10. “Hands down the best race car I’ve ever driven” “Such a blast!” "This car has guts!" “Remarkable machine” and “Can’t wait to own this car” were some of the responses from our members after their test drive. Watch the video, filmed at the SR10 North American launch event, held at Spring Mountain Motor Resort & Country Club.

07 radicalRadical's new turbocharged flagship scored 'Five Stars' in a review by CAR Magazine. In the article, entitled ‘Track Day Weapon,’ author Adam Binnie states “the car leaps from one corner exit to the next braking point with no discernible transition. It’s more teleportation than driving.”

Spring Mountain Racing provides sales, service and racing events for Radical and Wolf Racing Cars. We are a full stop shop for all your racing needs from Sales, Service, Parts and Engine work. For more information about the SR-10, contact Sean McGray at 702-420-3317.

New Member Profile

From C8 Student to Club Member: Meet Dylan Northern

08 newmemberDylan Northern, from Mesa, Arizona, joined our ranks after attending a C8 Corvette school during last month’s race weekend. He didn’t waste time signing up, noting “The Corvette school was awesome, and I had much more fun on the track than even I expected to. Now I want to be here as much as possible and membership seemed like the perfect answer.”

The C8 owner’s school was Dylan’s first experience with organized motorsports, but he’s been building wild cars since he was 16. His favorite projects have been the Miata go-kart and the Cummins swapped Datsun 280z. Currently, he’s working on an exo-caged off-road C5 Corvette with a potato cannon turret mounted on back!

The owner of a food truck fabrication shop in Mesa, DTN Custom Food Trucks, Dylan’s company designs and builds commercial kitchens in vans to serve the booming food truck industry.

Dylan is jump-starting his membership with personalized instruction to build his skills on the track. He is looking forward to the track expansion and the upcoming Casino opening. We are looking forward to seeing Dylan around the Club, and if anyone spots a C5 Corvette with a turret, give Dylan a wave!
