A Summer of Expansion and Excitement

More Security and Fun at your World Class Destination Resort

Spring Mountain Motor Resort & Country Club is bustling with activity and plans for a summer of expansion and progress. 01-SMEntryTowerMay2014Construction is now complete on a 24-hour security controlled entrance and soon a high-resolution 5 x 15 Jumbotron screen with graphics and video will display events for drivers on Highway 160. After the gates are installed in a few weeks the facility will be locked down and we will have a security controlled entrance 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. For fast and convenient entry our valued Club Spring Mountain members will receive a gate access card.

It's Official! The Nye County Board of Commissioners gave us their final vote of approval on May 19 to complete all of the building and development outlined in our Master Development plan.

Construction has begun on a 2,500 sq ft Welcome Center for visitor sign-in, track viewing, apparel sales and an information headquarters, with completion expected within 70 days. A 5,000 sq ft showroom for car manufacturers is also under construction near the new Training and Event Center. That building will be expanded later this year with a second clubhouse and kitchen to serve the new section of the track.

Just in time for summer water sports fun, construction on the 8-acre, 10-foot deep sparkling lake, complete with white sand and cabanas, will begin next week. When this project is complete we will offer paddle-boarding and a water-propelled Jetpack flight center. The Aquatic Center will be developed simultaneously.

02-JohnsHouseWithin 30 days model homes for Spring Mountain Estates will be under construction, and CEO John Morris' residence is moving along swiftly with completion set for July. The commercial property is expected to begin development in the Fall.

Our Club Race Weekend is coming up in a few days, and more of our members are joining the fun in the Miata, Lotus and Radical Race Series. The Radical Cup traveling series holds its next event June 13-15 at Sonoma Raceway. Please refer to our Event Calendar for more information about events at Spring Mountain.

The weather is lovely with more hours of daylight at the ultimate destination for motorsports enthusiasts in North America. While you're on the track, you can be confident your guests will be pampered by our top-notch staff and will enjoy all the comforts and amenities of an upscale resort. Looking forward to seeing you at the track this season!

Surprise Homecoming at Spring Mountain

Memorial Day Surprise for Wife of Marine aired on TODAY show

Lieutenant Nathan Lowman is a 04-LtLowmanCorvette-loving Air Force Reservist who bought his wife Cindy (who also loves cars) a three-day Corvette performance driving course for her birthday while he was deployed overseas. With Cindy believing that Nathan was in Southeast Asia on a mission, he organized an elaborate plan to surprise her in person. Upon arrival at Spring Mountain, Cindy and her daughter were asked to participate in taping for some promotional material and answered a couple of questions on camera about their love of Corvettes and what brought them to the school. With a lineup of Corvettes in the background, Lt. Lowman surprised them by removing this helmet when being introduced as one of the driving instructors and his daughter jumped into his arms. A heartfelt moment for the Lieutenant and his family who had not seen each other in over 7 months.
