City Incorporation Project Update

By Tim Sutton, Esq. - Sutton Law & Consulting Group

02 incorporationI’m excited to share the latest developments in our city incorporation project. As you know, this initiative aims to transform a portion of the unincorporated town of Pahrump into an incorporated city, providing us with greater control over local governance and services.

  • Growing Support: Community enthusiasm is high! Many residents are eager to learn how to get involved.
  • Addressing Financial Concerns: To address questions about financial sustainability, we've engaged H15 and Applied Analysis to conduct a comprehensive fiscal study, proving both feasibility and desirability.
  • Proposed City Name & Boundaries: We're exploring names like Rock Springs, Star Valley, Valley Springs, West Valley, Sunset Valley, Hidden Valley, Sunset Springs, Sage Valley, Desert Springs, and Manse Springs. Suggestions welcome. See the map for proposed boundaries. (Click to enlarge the map.)
  • Why Incorporate? Gain local control over services, improve responsiveness to our needs, and strengthen our community identity.
  • Stay Informed: You can join us at upcoming meetings and contact tim@suttonlawgroupllc.com for updates.
