The Future of Karting Arrives this Fall at Spring Mountain

Since 2004 Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club has been giving our members the best possible motorsports experience. In 2019, with the BLM land acquisition, we saw a chance to go even further. We heard your requests loud and clear – you wanted karting! So, we're thrilled to announce the construction of a brand-new, state-of-the-art karting complex, opening in the Fall of 2024. (Click on the image to enlarge the rendering.)

This isn't just an afterthought – we're building a dedicated 45-acre facility with a multi-course track designed to challenge and excite all skill levels. Here's a taste of what awaits you:

• Tracks: Unleash your inner racer on three thrilling courses:
• A full 1.13-mile course for the ultimate test.
• A technical .73-mile North Course inspired by the twists and turns of XPlex.
• A high-speed .40-mile South Course for pure adrenaline.
• Built to Impress: All tracks boast a generous 28 feet width and 23 feet of elevation change, meeting FIA specifications for regional and national-level racing.
• Amenities Galore: The complex will feature a dedicated 7.3-acre paddock area, a well-equipped kart shop for parts and storage, private garages for member convenience, a control tower with a viewing area (click on the image to enlarge rendering), top-notch rental karts, and a comfortable member's lounge for post-race relaxation.

This expansion is just the beginning – construction will continue beyond the Fall 2024 opening, with additional buildings and amenities planned. Stay tuned for more exciting developments!

Two decades ago, Spring Mountain’s story began with a vision and 193 acres of Nevada desert. Today, we stand as a testament to that vision, transformed into a sprawling 930-acre motorsports paradise. Our journey began with a modest 2.2-mile racetrack, a handful of Corvettes, two tent structures, and a passionate team. Under the leadership of Chairman John Morris, we've grown into a one-of-a-kind facility boasting over 930 acres and 9 miles of challenging racetrack with countless configurations.

As we celebrate this milestone, we're filled with immense gratitude for everyone who has been a part of this journey. We invite you to come along for the ride as we look to our exciting future. Here's to the next 20 years, and to many more miles on the track!

Gear Up for the Final Showdown at the June 6-9 Season Finale

The Spring Mountain 2023-2024 Race Series, presented by Dakine, Vertra, and Safe Life Defense, concludes this month. Take on the challenging 3.23-mile Charleston Peak Full Course under sunny skies with temperatures ranging from the 70s to the low 100s.

Race Registration:

• Friday & Saturday at 7:00 AM; Sunday at 8:00 AM

Clubhouse Events (Friday):

• Open at 6:00 PM; Dinner: 6:00-8:00 PM; Awards Presentation: 7:00 PM; and Poolside Cocktail Party: 8:00-10:00 PM

• Thursday, June 6th: Open Track Day - Hone your skills before the races begin!
• Friday, June 7th:Race Day - Earn valuable end-of-season points!
• Saturday, June 8th:Open Track Day - Put your skills to the test with Karting, Autocross, and Time Trials! Featuring Karting on the Kart Paddock, Autocross competition on the CP Paddock, and Time Trials on Charleston Peak.
• Sunday, June 9th:Open Track Day - Enjoy another exciting day of open track fun!

Get ready for a thrilling day of adrenaline-pumping activities on Saturday, June 8th! (Click on date for schedule.)

Sharpen Your Skills:

• 8:00 AM-12:00 PM: Karting on the Karting Paddock (near the East Track) with Tom Lovelady. Prepare for the opening of the Spring Mountain Karting Complex this fall!

Challenge Yourself:

• 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Autocross Competition on the Charleston Peak Paddock. Compete in Spring Mountain Corvette Stingrays and see who clocks the fastest time!

Test Your Limits:

• Time Trials on Charleston Peak Full Course (Open to All Classes.)This is not a wheel-to-wheel race. Choose to compete in Time Trials only, or use your lap time here to set your dial-in time for the Bracket Race.

Show Off Your Consistency:

• Bracket Races on Charleston Peak Full Course. Can you maintain consistent lap times? Aim to finish first, but slower than your posted dial-in time. Winning doesn't depend on beating other cars by a second or a mile – just stay within your target!
