Thankful for our Club Spring Mountain Members

You are the Heart and Soul of our Community

Welcome to Fall at Club Spring Mountain, with perfect desert temperatures and opportunities for fast-paced activities with your peers. Drivers, get ready for some big competition on race weekend November 9-12, with large starting grids in the Formulas/Prototype and Sports Car categories. If you’re not racing, relax with your friends and family at the Clubhouse, work out in our newly remodeled fitness center, enjoy a massage from Tina (check out our Holiday specials below,) or try some off-roading in the desert. There’s something for all members of the family here, and our staff is at your service to ensure you are enjoying YOUR club.

Time for some holiday shopping! Also, don’t miss our Blowout sale on our Visor shields in stock, and contact us with any questions.

This month is filled with activities, beginning with the Las Vegas Porsche Club on November 3-5. Then our own Club Race Weekend runs from November 9-12 on the Charleston Peak North 2.76-mile track. The management and staff at Club Spring Mountain would like to extend our sincere best wishes for a Thanksgiving filled with joy and a meaningful holiday season.

Facility Development Update

Progress on Control Tower, Special Projects, and Stunning Estate Homes

Our multi-story luxury control tower is looking better than ever, featuring a section for race spotters and soaring 55 feet above the track, providing perfect visibility of our newest premier race circuit, Charleston Peak. We look forward to hosting Club events with lots of space for spectators to view the entire Charleston Peak area.

The newly-updated design consists of a lower lounge area on the first floor, with the second and third floors designated for track viewing and the fourth floor utilized for race control. (Click to enlarge the drawing.)

New Clubhouse kitchen improvements and upgrades to our safety and security at Spring Mountain have been completed under the direction of Zac Dowdell, Operations Facilitator. Upgrades include: (1) A new walk-in freezer and refrigerator and kitchen equipment upgrades, increasing our food service capacity to meet our growing needs; (2) Newly refinished decks around the Clubhouse and Pool; (3) A new security camera system with instant feedback, including 100 cameras, a mobile viewing app, and more storage for security videos; (4) A new gate system, ensuring all who enter are approved to be on property, increasing the safety of our members and homeowners; (5) An on-track lighting system installed at Charleston Peak, giving us multiple tiers of flagging options; (6) Track cameras, allowing for faster assessment and reaction times, and instant playback for Race Directors to make calls on the fly; and (7) The addition of multiple mobile high-tech fire suppression systems, allowing us to respond to incidents quickly and extract the driver safely, minimizing damage to the race car and the track.

Development of the Lake Spring Mountain area has been delayed due to stricter permit processes recently implemented in Nye County. A postponement of 3 months is expected in our plans to build 37 RV spaces, a refreshing pool, a Pavilion with BBQ stations, and an expansion of the existing Aquatic center. The new, resort-style pool will be located between the old island and the Tiki Bar/Aquatic center, and the Aquatic center will be expanded and transformed into a luxury lounge. In addition, a new multi-purpose building of approximately 4,000 square feet, with a complete kitchen, will be constructed at the location of the sand volleyball courts. Replacing the island will be a large palapa with BBQ and fire pits. Four lighted Pickleball courts will be added near the Palapa in front of the multi-purpose building. Additional parking will be built, along with lush landscaping around the palapa. Development will recommence after we the permit process is complete and we will advise you of our progress.

Construction of the Spring Mountain Kart track has also been delayed due to new permit processes in Nye County. Plans remain in place to construct an initial .80-mile pro track, (pictured here) to be followed by another .50-mile track in the second phase for rental karts and kids. Running the full line of CRG karts on its 43-acre facility, Spring Mountain Karting will be offering a limited number of founder memberships, plus regular memberships to Club members, and is expected to be open 5 days per week, Wednesday through Sunday. We will keep you apprised of our progress and estimated completion date of the kart track after this delay.

Spring Mountain Estates, our luxury residential development at the facility with 80 home and mixed-use lots, has several projects in the planning and construction stages, according to Russ Meads of Double M Construction. This custom home, built on Lot #32 for member Dan Trunk, boasts over 6,000 square feet of living space and over 17,000 square feet overall, with soaring 38’ high ceilings, a custom glass elevator, and room for over 20 cars. You can expect to see the completion of this home in the first quarter of 2024.

Al and Danyelle Miller's stunning home is growing closer to completion, with construction wrapping up by the end of this year. This beautiful home features 17,000 square feet of living and garage space for all their race cars. Amenities include 3 bedrooms, spa room, club room, his-and-hers offices, walk-in wine room, kitchen and dining room seating for 52 of their family and friends, floating car display, 2,500 square feet primary suite, infinity pool, second level plunge pool, pickleball court, butlers pantry and lots of room for all of the toys. The view is spectacular with mountains out the front door and race tracks to the rear.
