Consumer Classes Begin for the 8th Generation Corvette Owners School
7th generation Corvette classes are also coming to an end
PAHRUMP, Nev. –
The Ron Fellows Performance Driving School has officially started classes for the long-awaited 8th generation Corvette Stingray! First time owners who have taken delivery of their new and unused 2020 Corvette have the opportunity to attend the 8th Generation Corvette Owners School and experience all their mid-engine has to offer.
The two-day program officially began June 1st at Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club shortly after reopening after state-mandated closure. The excitement was palpable as 11 students took the 2020 Corvette to the track and revved their engines ready for their new adventure. Designed around the consumer experience, the new precision detailed curriculum instills knowledge and confidence in drivers of all experience levels.
“This experience was absolutely epic! Out of the last 7-8 years that I’ve been out here as a part of the dealer program, coming out here as a first time customer was completely different and it was amazing how much drive time I got and how much I learned,” said Mike Davenport, a student in the first graduating class. “Come to learn, even if you have driving experience, and just come with an open mind that they are going to teach you stuff. And most importantly, come to have fun!”
The 8th Generation Corvette Owners School is an exclusive program subsidized by Chevrolet, providing first owners of a new and unused 2020 Corvette with a two-day school for only $1,000. Customers have one year from the date of delivery to take advantage of this offer. Tuition includes a one-night stay in one of Spring Mountain’s onsite condominiums and clubhouse access along with catered breakfast and lunch. Anyone who purchased their midengine Corvette before May 31st, 2020, have until June 1st, 2021, to book their driving school. Historically, the classes fill fast, so don’t hesitate to reserve now!

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to ensure our students that Spring Mountain has been and continues to follow all CDC recommended guidelines, because everyone’s safety and well-being is our top priority. Nevada is currently in Phase 2 of reopening, which allows gatherings of up to 50 people, with the continuation of following social distancing rules. Customers are still experiencing their driving schools to the fullest extent despite the modified classroom setting, and we are looking forward to hosting new and returning students in the coming months.
